To Be Like Me is a unique and innovative way to connect school aged children with individuals affected by a variety of disabilities. At the same time it provides an opportunity for those who have disabilities to share their life experiences and teach empathy. It is one of the best programs I've ever been associated with.
Lee is a retired veterinarian who spent almost 50 years caring for family pets. He loves being involved with a worthy cause like To Be Like Me and enjoys meeting new and amazing people and teaching kids and others about stuttering. Lee has a long and distinguished history of active involvement with the National Stuttering Association as well as the American Speech/Language Hearing Association. He is enjoying retirement and spends his time golfing, traveling with his amazing wife, cooking, and just being alive!
