I am humbled by the opportunity I have been given to talk about dyslexia. With the brief time that I have with participants, I have been able to see students truly grow and develop into compassionate people.
Jed
Jed never fails to leave our participants enlightened and inspired! In the early part of his academic career, when there was very little awareness about dyslexia, he believed that he was the only one with this learning difference. Working with To Be Like Me has allowed him to bring awareness while correcting stereotypes. Students with dyslexia are pleased to meet a successful adult, like Jed, who can relate to what they are experiencing in school. Jed has a PhD and is the founding pastor of Restoration Anglican Church in Richardson, Texas. He is very involved in his community and local schools. His favorite time is spent with his wife and kids. Jed enjoys reading, working out, being in nature, and exploring new foods/cultures.
