The hardest thing about my disability isn’t that it affects my muscle movements but it’s the way people treat me because of it. I want people to be kind, accepting, and helpful to people like me.
Aaron
Aaron, a LEADer with dystonia, loves that To Be Like Me is giving people with disabilities a platform to share their stories. His hope is that it will create a more understanding and accepting society, built on a culture of solidarity. Some of his favorite memories at To Be Like Me have occurred while hanging out with the other LEADers and sharing their experiences. Aaron is a computer programmer and enjoys participating in the World Youth Alliance as well as volunteering at his church.
